Metatranscriptome

Product Introduction

Metatranscriptome sequencing targets the entire microbial community within a specific environment, overcoming the technical limitations of difficult microbial isolation and cultivation. It simply involves extracting the total RNA from all microorganisms in the sample for sequencing.
Utilizing the Novaseq short-read high-throughput Sequencing Platform, metatranscriptome sequencing conducts comprehensive sequencing of the RNA from the microbial community in the sample. Through processes such as assembly, gene prediction, gene annotation, and abundance calculation, it uncovers genetic diversity and molecular ecological information such as species composition, functional gene transcriptional regulation, and metabolic pathways within the sample.
